Bryan Thomas Supplement Advice

Ok so im back on the blog scene. Not sure if I was ever REALLY
a "blogger" but here goes...

This is ALL you need to get lean. Trust me!

BCAA(branch-chain amino acid)
multi-vitamin
EFA (essential fatty acid), CLA
Fish oil (here is the one I use)
Enzyme's
Whey protein powder

My 3 favorite "supplements" before a workout.
L-Carnetine, (To preserve muscle)
L-arginine (precursor to Nitric Oxide)
Black tea or black coffee.(Better then any crappy fat burner!)

Most important Supplement...ya ready for this one?....are ya?..its So amazing that if taken in consistently and every 2-3 hours will almost Guarantee you a LEANER healthier body!

GOOD CLEAN HEALTHY LEAN FOODS!!!!

...Thats it!

None of all this B.S. Supplement HYPE! Ya know the ones in the BIG bright fancy containers with the powerful eye catching words.

Time to put this plan in action...MOOOVE People!

And good luck!

I am off to NYC in a few hours for a few big shoots with 3 of NYC's most gifted and talented photographers in the world for various assignments and work!

Hope you are all having a happy healthy safe summer!

Sincerely,
Bryan Thomas

P.S. The photo posted with this article is a "off season" shot of myself. Taken in November of this past year. I am around 197 lbs in that photo. Typically I am at 185 for most photo shoots.

To lean out for shoots I add cardio 3-4 times a week @45-55 minutes. I will also cut back on the high protein and calorie consumption by splitting meals down. Fruits and clean carbs such as Yams and brown rice are key. Ok that was a long PS but I thought you all might like to know this information..ok off to NYC!

Dr. Cannon, Medical Director, named one of St. Louis's "best"

Congrats to our Medical Director, Dr. Mike Cannon, for being named one of the "best doctors" by St. Louis Magazine.

The list is based on the annual "Best Doctors in America" database, which considers more than one million peer evaluations to create a directory of approximately 30,000 doctors.

Thumbs Up!

Clinical rotations begin August 11th with pre-season football practice at Washington University. The students are wrapping up summer classes in Gross Anatomy and Principles of Athletic Training. They are busy practicing clinical competencies that will allow them to function well at this rotation.

Our students are getting ready for the football season by practicing use of the spine board. The "subject" felt well taken care of....

Summer football heating things up!

Its a typical steamy St. Louis summer weekend and our program is covering the Free Football and Life Skills Camp sponsored by Youth Lifeline America on the campus of Harris-Stowe State University. The camp is staffed by many NFL football players and other football coaches. They not only teach football, but other skills that the campers with use the rest of their lives.

For more information on the camp go to: http://www.youthlifeline.org/football

About 300 campers benefited from the numerous volunteers on the hydration crew!

Our staff is poised and ready for any challenges that may come their way.

No, Eric didn't have a head wound...he is modeling the cool headbands provided by the camp.

Hitting the ground running!

Well I am off and running and am already having meetings and getting to know the system. I am very excited to be here and to help make the SLU Athletic Training Education Program the best in the country!

We are so lucky to be located on this campus with all the support and to be located in a city that has boundless opportunities for the students in the clinical settings. We have a wide variety of clinical settings from high school athletics to professional sports and everything in between.

I can’t wait to meet more people who want to be a part of our program and get them on board.

Here’s to a great year for the SLU ATEP and Go Billikens!
