On MSNBC's "The Ed Show" on Friday, Grayson told Ed Schultz (emphasis mine):
"I think I understand their disappointment. They're not going to be winning the Nobel Peace Prize anytime soon. They probably wish there was a Nobel prize for fear, a Nobel prize for hatred, a Nobel prize for racism. Then they'd be in the running."It's true that many, on both sides of the aisle, have been critical of the Nobel Committee's choice of Barack Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize, but it should be remembered that the Nobel Committee consists of five people only, they are all of one country (Norway), and Norway is considered quite eclectic. Don't blame the president for something he did not campaign for.
