An Arlington Catholic High School football player has been charged with assault and battery after head-butting a helmet-less opposing player in a game on Sept. 19th. The head-butt was captured on video (below).In the video, you can see 17-year old James LaShoto head-butting Dan Curtin, 16 (shown), whose helmet had come off. Curtin told local TV station WBZ:
"I didn't know what was happening... he pushed my helmet off, the next thing I knew I was covered in blood."LaShoto is a team captain at Arlington Catholic and a member of the National Honor Society. Very little honor in that move, however.
"Act justly, love tenderly, walk humbly with God" is the motto of Arlington Catholic High School. It does not appear that LaShoto followed any of that.
