Hard to believe, but I have video to prove it. Bill O'Reilly on his Sept. 10th show, not only called Joe Wilson a pinhead for shouting out "You Lie!," he defended Barack Obama to Ann Coulter. It's really cold, since hell froze over.O'Reilly: “You told our guys you liked that South Carolina pinhead Congressman Wilson? What if a liberal Democrat had yelled out at President Bush during one of his speeches. You wouldn't have liked that.”
Coulter: “Yeah. Last night we had Obama telling lie after lie.”
In his speech Obama said that a health care reform bill wouldn’t cover illegal immigrants or abortions. Coulter feels that what Obama said was a lie, despite the fact that the bill is not even final.
Coulter: “Republicans introduced amendments that would make this — that would not allow coverage under the health care bill for illegal aliens. Democrats voted that amendment down.”
Actually, what the Democrats voted down was requiring proof of citizenship to use the system. This is the same sort of things that prevents, or hampers, the elderly and poor when they have to produce documentation to vote. Some cannot get the paperwork because they cannot driver, or are too poor, and so forth and so on.
O'Reilly: “Obama is on the record in front of the country saying no illegal alien coverage. No money for abortion. So he's locked down. He's locked down.”
Coulter: “He can say he is a martian. Ok. Well that was a lie. That’s what representative Joe Wilson was saying.”
O'Reilly: “The final bill hasn’t been drawn up yet. If it’s in the bill, he is a liar."
Coulter: “Yes, is he a liar."
O’Reilly corrected her. “No, it's not now. Coulter, you jump too far ahead. If it's in the final bill, then he's a liar. But not now!”
