Tina Fey Wins Emmy for Sarah Palin Impersonation

Tina Fey took home the sixth Emmy of her career on Saturday night with her win as "guest actress in a comedy series" for her portrayal of GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live." Tina Fey has won Emmys in: writing variety ("SNL," 2002); producing comedy ("30 Rock," 2007, 2008); writing comedy ("30 Rock," 2008); and lead actress comedy ("30 Rock," 2008).

As I previously wrote, if there was any problem with the Sarah Palin SNL impersonations, it was that the writers didn't have to do much writing. If you watch, for example, the appearance by Fey below, you'll note uncanny similarities between her satirical role, and the real thing.
